Bearing Retention System: Works in conjunction with the inner and outer spindle nuts to secure wheel bearings and maintain proper hub preload.

Dexter 10K–15K Axle Bearing Adjustment Procedure:

• Tighten the inner spindle nut to 100–150 ft-lbs while rotating the hub to properly seat the bearings.
• Loosen the inner nut completely.
• Re-tighten the inner nut finger tight, then back off to the nearest slot that aligns with the tang washer.
• Install the 005-059-00 tang washer.
• Install the outer spindle nut and torque to 100–150 ft-lbs to complete the assembly.
